ACCOUNT HANDLER
We are looking for someone to join our Hull team. The role will include working on renewals, new enquiries and day to day maintenance of allocated accounts.
The roles involves:
Preparation of Slips, Endorsements and renewal stats.
Set up of policies using Eclipse and inhouse systems.
Calculating premium and maintaining spreadsheets
Liaising with clients and Underwriters.
Uploading to PPL/Whitespace .
Working with business partners both internal and external to resolve any issues or problems.
Attend regular team meetings.
Skills required;
Ability to produce slips and knowledge of MRC.
Be able to create calculation schedules on Excel using simple formula.
Working within a Marine Insurance environment
Working knowledge of, at least, Hull & Machinery, Marine Interests, Loss of Hire and War Risks.
Familiarity with Hull conditions, ADSDTV, NMIP and ITC
Have experience of working in a client facing role
It would be an advantage to have:
Experience of PPL / Whitespace / Eclipse Broking.
Worked in a role with responsibility for allocated accounts.
