This is a starter programme, and no prior insurance knowledge is required. You’ll gain a lot of exposure to the various elements that make up the team as well as the wider division. This includes a comprehensive induction schedule for the first few weeks and the opportunity to work on projects across the team for the duration of the programme.
Whether it’s providing insurance coverage for vessels supporting the oil & gas and offshore renewable energy industry, global shipments, or some the largest shipping fleets in the world, the Marine, Cargo & Logistics team are at the forefront of the industry for our ever-expanding portfolio of global clients.
What you’ll do
Within this apprenticeship you will:

• Gain exposure to and acquire general insurance knowledge, including working towards your CII insurance qualifications.
• Develop a deep understanding of Marine and Cargo insurance, including policy placement alongside claims collection.
• Work on projects focused on a variety of Marine and Cargo insurance segments.
• Participate in development workshops focused on the core skills required for the role.
• Be part of a dynamic and constantly evolving environment with lots of learning opportunities.
