Title: Delegated Underwriting Authority Administrator 
Location: London/ Hybrid

Overview of department
The Delegated Underwriting Authority team form part of the Underwriting Team at the business, whose role is to provide all oversight & support to the Syndicate from a data, wordings, Bordereaux, contract certainty and reconciliation of premiums perspective.

Purpose of role
  • To provide administrative services in respect of  the various “Pillars” of delegated authority, such as :- Due Diligence, Audit & Bordereaux 
  • To work as part of a small team, to maintain and enhance its administrative tasks, which will aid the teams oversight and help the team adhere to its objectives.
Main areas of responsibility
  • Check accuracy of contract information entered by Brokers on DCOM market system.
  • Initial entry, and ongoing maintenance of contract information on internal policy administration system & DCOM
  • Perform regular reporting to the team and wider business, IRO- Renewal Diary, Team Reporting, Assisting in DAMG pack production, DAMG minute taking & Action point tracking.  
  • Be the main contact for the team Delegated Authority Management system, ensuring all information within it is accurate and complete.
  • Perform administration of the team meeting agendas and minute production/circulation 
  • General administration of Synergy, related to delegated authority business i.e. slip entry, endorsement amendments & agreed EPI changes.
  • Ensure the DUA Electronic Filing System is complete. 
  • Provide general administrative support to the Head of Delegated & DUA Technicians 
  • Produce and circulate the obligated income report for DUA on a periodic basis. 
  • Perform claims declaration entry on to Synergy on an Adhoc basis
