About the role:
The primary focus of the role is to support the Risk Management team in the implementing and managing the risk and internal control frameworks across the business.
Key Tasks
- Support the maintenance and review of the risk register, ensuring that it is regularly reviewed by risk owners as part of the bi-annual senior management risk assessment process.
- Collate risk and control metrics from a variety of sources for input into board level risk reporting.
- Assist in reviewing and updating risk management policies and procedures to ensure they align with current practices and comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including Lloyd’s Principles.
- Manage the company’s SharePoint documentation library, ensuring that documents are reviewed appropriately, and metadata is accurate.
- Provide support for the ORSA process, including gathering and recording information.
- Support the identification and management of emerging risks and horizon scanning
- Assist in the completion of Principles Attestation working, with risk owners and prepare for review by Head of Risk and the Board.
- Support the IMVAL process, including conducting qualitative testing and preparing reports for review.
- Support other Risk Management projects, e.g. ESG & Climate Change.
