Title: Hospitality Assistant
Location: London/ hybrid 
Salary: £28,500 per annum

What you’ll be doing

Responsibilities
·        To provide attentive service to all visitors

·        To ensure that all service areas are set up to the required standard

·        To provide catering services; to include, breakfast, lunch & events

·        To ensure that all meeting rooms are fit for purpose in accordance with the meeting room standards

·        To initiate good customer service and ensure premium service is upheld

·        To co-operate with the team and undertake such duties to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times

·        To project a willing and helpful attitude to employees and visitors

·        Ensure all hospitality areas are maintained in a clean & tidy condition, in accordance with the company’s Hygiene, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

·        Assist with the preparation and the serving of all hospitality and beverages ensuring great customer service at all times To maintain the required standards of personal hygiene and food handling practices, in accordance with the Hygiene policy and current legislation.

·        Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with company procedure

·        Assist with the ordering and deliveries as required

·        To report any faults as swiftly as possible to the designated person/s.


The role will also entail undertaking the following activities with the team, when required:

·        To undergo training courses and attend company meetings when necessary.

·        To be prepared to change work methods, patterns or departments to help ensure the smooth running of the unit.

·        To carry out any reasonable management request.

·        Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime during events, is a key requirement of this role, provided notice is given.


Irregular Duties:

·        Report immediately any incidents of – fire, accident or theft.

·        Report and, where possible, take action for any customer compliments or complaints, and notify the designated report.

·        Attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary from time to time.

 
Skills and Requirements
·        Previous experience of working in a professional customer service environment an advantage

·        Food services experience desirable but not essential

·        Hold an in date First Aid at Work qualification or be willing to obtain this upon joining

·        Presentable and personable

·        Ability to operate attentively without over-familiarity

·        Ability to work as part of a team and individually

·        Flexibility and be able to adapt to the needs of the business
